Meet Jack

The Man Behind the Mission

Jack Millefolie Born in Sicily, Jack came to the United States as a young man with little more than grit, heart, and a deep respect for hard work. Drawn to the trades early in life, he immersed himself in learning every skill he could—woodworking, plumbing, electrical, masonry—becoming a true jack of all trades. With a natural eye for detail and an instinct for solving problems, no job was too big or too small for Jack. As his reputation and skills grew, so did his family. He married his beloved wife, Nina, and together they raised nine children—first in Detroit, Michigan, and later at their cherished farmhouse in Amesbury, Massachusetts.

For Jack, family was everything. His relentless work ethic, day after day, was fueled by love and the desire to provide. Jack’s legacy is the foundation of TradeCrews—a platform built on the same values he lived by: craftsmanship, integrity, and the belief that honest work shapes strong families and stronger communities. His story continues through every connection made and every project brought to life.

Personal Reflections from the Founder

Jack at the table Growing up, the big red barn at our home was a magical place. Seeing its construction of mortis and tenon beams was like looking into a sacred past. The barn was larger than life. It was filled with nooks and crannies, and with tools, and lumber, and the sounds of a master craftsman at work. I remember the smell of sawdust, the sound of a hammer striking a nail, and the sight of my father, Jack. Watching a master craftsman at work is a joy I hope everyone can experience and growing up, I was fortunate to have that privilege albeit for too short a time. Whether framing houses, building custom cabinets, or remodeling a home, his talent and skill were evident in the lives of every family he built for.

His friends called him Jack, I called him Dad, and the imprints he left are lasting. I may not have inherited his talent and skills, but I did, thankfully inherit his work ethic. We share a devotion to family, house and home and that devotion is what drove me to develop TradeCrews. I want TradeCrews to be the best it can be for those who need and provide services. I can think of no better way to honor Dad's legacy than to exemplify him here, in a way that allows new families to benefit from the knowledge and skill of a master craftsman.
